"My recent purchase of a scooter has been a life-altering event. I dropped in the shop to have a look around on a Friday afternoon, got to meet the gang and the next thing I know Joel gave me a set of keys and said bring it back Monday. Suddenly I didn’t know what to do or where to go. I checked the paper and went to the Inner Harbour, Saturday saw Moss Street Paint-in, Sunday was Jazz in the Park. I also used it to and from my volunteer position as Docent at Maritime Museum of BC.
I’m considering selling my car with insurance, gas and parking all going up. With public transportation and my “Red Convertible”
as I call it, I’m all set.
One bit of advice. Be patient and careful in crowded places and enjoy your new lease on life."
I used to think scooters were for someone with a disability, however I now know that they are very useful for any person, even if you have a car.
